Henry McGee plays "Dennis Newberry" business partner to Timothy Love (Paul Eddington). Nanette Newman plays love interest Judy.

Life is good for Timothy Love (Paul Eddington) . Successful, wealthy, independent... but single. Enter Judy (Nannette Newman), a widowed mother of three. Timothy falls in love with Judy, they get engaged and then married (at the end of series one). The second series  is about Timothy's adoption to fatherhood to step children Charles (Stephen Nolan), Edward (Ian Morrison) and Elizabeth (Claudia Gambold).
Henry plays a storming support role, providing 'helpful' advice to the newly statused 'family man'.
